Description

Truth: the vast majority of teachers and school staff are white. Also true: our schools and communities are becoming more diverse. Learn from Natalie’s experience in being a white teacher in a diverse classroom, how she navigated through introspective work around her unintentional biases, and how racial bias plays out in schools in ways that affect disparities in achievement and student discipline. Pre-work reading and post-work small group reflection will be encouraged.
