2nd Annual Kiwanis Walk and Roll Parade
St. Cloud, Minn. – On Saturday, May 28th, the Downtown St. Cloud Kiwanis Club will host the 2nd Annual Bike, Trike, Walk and Roll Parade at 10am at Lake George. All children and their families are welcome!
The Kiwanis Club has teamed up with #unitecloud and Orange Oak to promote this event to all families in the St. Cloud area. Promotional flyers will be given out at local schools and put up around town, both in English and Somali, inviting all kids to attend this exciting event with their families! Children are encouraged to decorate their bikes, trikes, scooters, or wagons before coming, or, they will be able to decorate their ride at the park with decorations provided by the Kiwanis Club. Don’t miss the parade around the lake where you’ll get to see all the decorated rides!
Giveaways will include: 4 bikes, books, bike helmets, beverages, dilly bar coupons, and more!
Many local organizations join the Kiwanis Club to take place in the event, including Great River Regional Library, Bernicks, Kids Fighting Hunger, The Summer Roll n’ Read Bookmobile, Sartell High School Students, VFW Color Guard, Chisel from the Rox, St. Cloud Police and Fire Departments, Mr. Bug, Gold Cross Ambulance, #unitecloud, and St. Cloud Somali Youth Organization.
